CANTHO IMPORT EXPORT SEAFOOD JOINT STOCK COMPANY (CASEAMEX)

Cantho Import-Export Seafood JSC. (CASEAMEX) is the former Export Foodstuffs Processing Factory owned by Cantho Agricultural & Animal Products IMEX Company (CATACO). Since July 1st 2006, Caseamex operates its own business as a joint stock company and is currently located in the Tra Noc Industrial Zone, Can Tho city, central in the Mekong Delta region.

Our main products are fresh and frozen Pangasius Hypophthalmus, black tiger shrimps and fresh water shrimps.

Production process

At the present, Caseamex owns one hatchery and aquatic services center (the Aquatic Plant and Food Ltd., AMIGO), various farming areas, and two factories for pangasius and shrimp processing.  Recent reports from the company show a year-to-date capacity record of above-20,000 tons of products per year.

We receive international certifications such as ASC, GLOBAL GAP, SA 8000, HACCP, ISO, Halal, BRC, IFS.

Target markets

Main target markets: USA,European, Asian, Middle Eastern countries and focused customers in countries like USA, Canada, Brazil, Australia and others.

Developments

Benefiting from owning a rich fish source in the Mekong Delta, Caseamex will enlarge its market share. Simultaneously, we are improving our management apparatus, training human resources, and being aware of global eco-social integration so that we can come up with well-qualified deliverables.  We are also developing our closed processing system to assure quality for strict markets, stabilise our position, and create more trading opportunities.
